Global Girls is a virtual and in-person fellowship with summer and school year installments. Our partners include Global Teens, Global Kids, Global Action Project, Girl Be Heard, and Global Social Worker Alliance.

Teen Fellows will aid the organization’s advisory efforts, community assessments, research, trend analysis, topic selection, and grantee identification. Each cohort will participate in ongoing team-building exercises while learning about community-centric philanthropy by communicating with our grantees and applying that knowledge to grantmaking. We will work with youth from our partner countries. Teens will learn about youth activism and be on the ground ambassadors in their home countries. All youth will work on projects that engage them in public education, digital advocacy work, and movement building presentations. Select teens have the opportunity in the future to travel internationally and provide hands-on service to grantee sites.

Program alumni will mentor each cohort and take a more active role in grantmaking and board participation. Applicants must be gender-diverse youth or girls of color interested in birth justice, sexual violence against girls, and other global issues impacting children of color. Stipends are given to all applicants.
