Michelle

Content Writer & Training Specialist

Before GFG, Michelle was a leader at New Jersey’s Division of Child Protection and Permanency, where she kept children and their families healthy, safe, and connected by managing daily operations and policy implementation for caseworkers.

Michelle holds both a master’s in child advocacy policy and planning from Montclair State University and a master’s of social work from Rutgers University.

She has committed herself to bring awareness to procedures and systems barring marginalized groups from progress. Michelle believes that the biggest threat to equity is people in positions of power promoting ill-conceived biases against others.

Outside of GFG, Michelle also consults nonprofit organizations and operates as a webinar trainer, mentor, and life coach.
